Zigzagzig cat door
Exterior with lid/roof off.
Interior with wall/panel off and power cable running out cat flap to outside. Cat comes in there, goes right, goes up, goes left, and enters inside at top left.
Half way up is a "floor" across the middle that ends at the 18" steel ruler. Replace ceramic tile with plywood notched for power cord. Something outside is holding up the flap.
Flap is "normal".
Short white triple outlet is mounted on left, black power cord. Added square ply right wall. Cat entered past me and I realized the scrap wood (it's all scrap wood) on the "floor" was too close for him to do a "U-turn" in addition to the flap. Hereafter it's changed to grant a wider berth.
Cut insulation (scrap from Winton's addition), held in place with splinters against the wind. Last month (or two), I built shelves that failed, then turned it into that toolbox, which may become a Santa prop.
Added last outside wall to prevent wind coming in. Didn't need "ceiling" as insulation and sloped lid/roof close it off.
Closer.
Currie brought cherry tomatoes to the last Green Room meeting and I got a dozen, though one seems like it's not gonna make it. Last year John gave me a whole bunch of those long screw/bolt boxes from his work at Home Depot. I didn't know what to use them for. Now they'll be in the washroom greenhouse.

Opposite side of wall/panel. I had to cut off the corner of the mounting block for the power cord. I patched this scrap plywood with two triangles, one at the corner, and another midway.
Ready to raise the wall/panel.
Wall/panel is up.
Nice oak trim is in place on sides and across the bottom. The planks and black shelf are temporary until I can afford some nice proper boards to finish it aesthetically.
Santa Libertas set
Black wall/panel up top. Santa set (in development). Haven't started asking for props and decor yet. Top left is a beaver statud, Venitian cat mask, and wild turkey feather behind a 22" dog bed on a shelf for my cat. Two and a half years ago, when I got the two cats they were climbing everything so I made high shelves around the room for them. They liked them until one didn't come home and there was no more interest in climbing that high. I then filled the shelves with books until I redecorated last month.
Some of the Buddhas are restored, but for the Santa show, the cat bed and Buddhas won't be in shot or I'll replace them with something more appropriate.
Last month I restored this formerly broken chair. You couldn't sit in it. Now it's build like a tank. The halo effect will be intentional.
I turned on all the lights, but the show lighting will be much better.
Top shelf. Shark jaws, Pokey & Gumby, bamboo forms I made, books, and the Bard.

While listening to a Hollywood actress talk about her career last night I sketched this stuff. I brought a bunch of animation books for Jared to look at. "Freedom for Journalists" is Pete's thing and I thought this might make a good logo.
