Zigzagzig cat door
Currie brought cherry tomatoes to the last Green Room meeting and I got a dozen, though one seems like it's not gonna make it. Last year John gave me a whole bunch of those long screw/bolt boxes from his work at Home Depot. I didn't know what to use them for. Now they'll be in the washroom greenhouse.
The lid/roof is a crude section of plywood scrap. It was already mostly red but I added an additional protective coat. The white rubber/plastic (same as cat flap) is a scrap piece from Winton's addition patio floor on a roof. If I wasn't so tired and lazy I would have masked the white. The overspray on the cement was intentional to mark the webcam view edge.
Packed up by two of three windows. I also built that box last month, for file folders - but it seems more appropriate for work stuff and cargo (groceries, books, etc) on the e-scooter. The sun, to the front and right, is reflecting off the windows of my parents' building behind, across the street, making it look like a sun rise instead of sunset.
Santa Libertas set
Black wall/panel up top. Santa set (in development). Haven't started asking for props and decor yet. Top left is a beaver statud, Venitian cat mask, and wild turkey feather behind a 22" dog bed on a shelf for my cat. Two and a half years ago, when I got the two cats they were climbing everything so I made high shelves around the room for them. They liked them until one didn't come home and there was no more interest in climbing that high. I then filled the shelves with books until I redecorated last month.
Illustrations
Unfinished Scottish rampant lion painting. From my original sketch.
