Hey Freedom Fam!
I just want to take a minute to remind you all that we're holding weekly Yoga Classes & Smoothies with Coco at Green Room.
I attended my first yoga class ever last week. Didn't know what to expect but I can tell you with no exaggeration that it was one of the most uplifting experiences I've had in recent memory. It was relaxing and invigorating at the same time! The lights were set just low enough to set the mood. There was a single incense stick burning in the corner which added a subtle, pleasant aroma to the space. All the while a soothing, delicate meditative music played in the background adding an air of peace and tranquility to the atmosphere. Even though I was in my own building I felt like I was transported to a fascinating, far-off realm of enchantment and wonder.
First and foremost, Coco is a consummate professional at her craft. She has been doing this for 22 years and I can tell you first-hand, she is magic! Being unvaxxed and in the Freedom Fighter Community can wear on the body, mind and soul and yet I came out of my first yoga session with her feeling refreshed, energized and revived.
We went through breathing techniques to cleanse the nose and throat, a few poses to awaken and enliven certain areas of the body, and finally finishing off with meditation and relaxation that was more satisfying and enjoyable than I had ever expected it to be.
After the meditation session we enjoyed the most delicious and nourishing smoothies which replenished our energy levels leaving us feeling dynamic and vitalized.
The reason why I'm writing all this to you today is because it had such a beneficial impact on my mind, body and soul that I want to share it with all of you!
I invite everyone to join us this and every Thursday for Coco Yoga at Green Room Community Center! Doors open at 4:30pm, smoothies are at 6:00pm.
