Santa Libertas, aka Freedom Santa, is a series of opinion shorts in development, featuring comedy, analysis, opinions, and reflections on culture, politics, society, and the destiny of humanity.

Developed and produced in and around Windsor, Ontario, Canada - and in The Lions' Den.

Jason Carswell would rather be behind the camera - but realizes it's simpler to just do it than to compel and organize others without focused passion to convey his messages. By embracing one of the most universally famous and beloved of bearded characters, Santa Claus, he can creatively and respectfully introduce regular folks worldwide to new easily digestible insights sprinkled with humour.

  • 2025-11-02 Regarding a particular episode, Jason left a comment on CorbettReport.com:
    When I'm not working to survive, I'm working on my LeverMind Variety Show series, coming soon/eventually. I'm developing 14 episodes to start (with endless issues/ideas for more) and will have half finished before I release even one episode (for various pragmatically paranoid reasons). They will be catchy, clear, and concise with a high production value (I used to animate a lot of ads, videos, etc. in the 90s and 00s - demo reel at Janglers.ca), to edutain and wedge over the fence sitting sheeple, not to preach to the choir, nor aimed at those brainwashed with cement. For half of all episodes I'll play the character of Santa Libertas (for obvious reasons seen on my Projex.Wiki: http://SantaLibertas.com). The sooner I can get these high-production episodes finished and out there, the sooner I can attract more help, talent, and hopefully funding (seeking angel seeds in these squeezing times) - then focus on writing/directing/animating these important ideas Corbett covers, as well as co-organizing local action. I'm currently painting my new large action/studio space to set up in, "The Lions' Den - Windsor Media Projects & Freedom Underground" for developing action newsletters, freedom meetings, hosting lectures, movie screenings, podcasts, recording performances, social events, and staging Santa skits for goodness' sake.
