Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD), or Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt, and Despair (FUDD), is a manipulative tactic used in sales, media, marketing, public relations (propaganda), opinion polling, and cults. FUD is generally a strategy to influence by disseminating negative, dubious, and false information. FUD is "implicit coercion" by "any kind of disinformation used as a competitive weapon." It is a tactic based on fear appeal, and shares commonalities with 'fearmongering'.

Five Eyes
The Five Eyes (FVEY) is an Anglosphere intelligence alliance comprising Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States - and secretly Israel. These countries are party to the multilateral UKUSA Agreement, a treaty for joint cooperation in signals intelligence. Informally, "Five Eyes" can refer to the group of intelligence agencies of these countries. The term "Five Eyes" originated as shorthand for a "AUS/CAN/NZ/UK/US Eyes Only" (AUSCANNZUKUS) releasability caveat.
UKUSA is the somewhat obvious acronym accorded the March 1946 secret agreement between the UK and USA concerning Communications intelligence sharing and under which the global Echelon system was built. Both the secret agreement itself and the Echelon system continue in operation with secrecy and technological capabilities vastly greater than envisaged at the outset, while widely accepted for decades, never officially acknowledged.

Free/Libre Open-Source Software (FLOSS or FOSS) "is software that is available under an open-source license that grants the right to use, modify, and distribute the software, modified or not, to everyone free of charge. The public availability of the source code is [...] a necessary condition.

Fourth Industrial Revolution
- Also: 4th Industrial Revolution.
- AKA: 4IR, Industry 4.0, Intelligence Age.
- More soon.
A neologism describing rapid technological advancement in the 21st century. It follows the Third Industrial Revolution (the "Information Age"). The term was popularized in 2016 by Klaus Schwab, the World Economic Forum founder and former executive chairman, who asserts that these developments represent a significant shift in industrial capitalism. A part of this phase of industrial change is the joining of technologies like artificial intelligence, gene editing, to advanced robotics that blur the lines between the physical, digital, and biological worlds.
The Fourth Industrial Revolution is the ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern smart technology, leading to a predicted large-scale redundancy of the general population. There is a concerted establishment drive to implement as many aspects of this as possible, despite popular reluctance to many aspects (not that the population is asked anyway).

Fully Automated Luxury Gay Space Communism
A utopian society proposed by far-left activists where gender, wealth, and work become obsolete and everyone lives in luxury.
Etymology: From the term fully automated luxury communism, proposed by the British journalist Aaron Bastani[ Wikipedia ] in 2014, which suggests that automation will make work and scarcity obsolete. The Gay and Space parts were later added by activists to suggest that this utopia would also end all persecution of LGBTQ people and become more advanced than modern society.
