Agenda 21
Agenda 21 is a "non-binding" action plan of the United Nations with regard to sustainable development. It is a product of the Earth Summit (UN Conference on Environment and Development) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in June 1992. It is an action agenda for the UN, other multilateral organizations, and individual governments around the world that can be executed at local, national, and global levels. One major objective of the Agenda 21 initiative is that every local government should draw its own local Agenda 21. Its aim initially was to achieve global sustainable development by 2000, with the "21" in Agenda 21 referring to the original target of the 21st century. The plan has been the subject of conspiracy theories linking it to alleged plans for a New World Order.

An apologia (Latin for apology, from Greek: ἀπολογία, lit. 'speaking in defense') is a formal defense of an opinion, position or action, [...] often in the context of religion, theology and philosophy. In modern usage, apologia describes a formal defense and should not be confused with the sense of the word 'apology' as an expression of regret; however, apology may mean apologia, depending on the context of use.
Apophenia
The tendency to perceive meaningful connections between unrelated things. Coined in 1958 by psychiatrist Klaus Conrad as "unmotivated seeing of connections [accompanied by] a specific feeling of abnormal meaningfulness". He described the early stages of delusional thought as self-referential over-interpretations of actual sensory perceptions, as opposed to hallucinations. Apophenia has also come to describe a human propensity to unreasonably seek definite patterns in random information, such as can occur in gambling.

In developmental psychology and moral, political, bioethical philosophy, autonomy is the capacity to make an informed, uncoerced decision. Autonomous organizations or institutions are independent or [[self-governing]. Autonomy can also be defined from a human resources perspective, where it denotes a (relatively high) level of discretion granted to an employee in their work. In such cases, autonomy is known to generally increase job satisfaction. Self-actualized individuals are thought to operate autonomously of external expectations. In a medical context, respect for a patient's personal autonomy is considered one of many fundamental ethical principles in medicine. In artificial intelligence, autonomy is the capacity of an autonomous agent to perform complex tasks [independently]].

Axiology
- AKA: Value theory or Theory Of Value.
- Also: Axiologists.
- (Greek axios, "worthy" (corresponding to Latin valere, "to be strong" or "to be worthy); logos, "science")
The practical philosophy of values and the study of the nature, status, types, validity, and criteria of values and of value judgments especially in ethics and research.
The philosophical study of goodness, or value, in the widest sense of these terms, bringing disparate discussions under a single heading, including questions about the nature of value and its relation to other moral categories.
Axiologists study value in general rather than moral values in particular and frequently emphasize the plurality and heterogeneity of values while at the same time adopting different forms of realism about values.
- Its significance lies (1) in the considerable expansion that it has given to the meaning of the term value and (2) in the unification that it has provided for the study of a variety of questions — economic, moral, aesthetic, and even logical — that had often been considered in relative isolation.
- ~ axiology ~ Britannica.com
- Value theory, also called axiology, studies the nature, sources, and types of values. It is a branch of philosophy and an interdisciplinary field closely associated with social sciences such as anthropology, economics, psychology, and sociology.
- Value is the worth of something, usually understood as covering both positive and negative degrees corresponding to the terms good and bad. Values influence many human endeavors related to emotion, decision-making, and action. Value theorists distinguish various types of values, like the contrast between intrinsic and instrumental value.
