FREE* ANIMATION!

This announcement to all freedom and prepper folks is to let you know about:

  1. Free* 9-day crash course in 2D animation.
  2. Free* short-term animation production for:
    • Windsor/Essex media producers with specific projects, a need for talent, and/or would like test-hire assistants.
See the list of animation-related field examples below.
    • Windsor/Essex content creators without studio resources who would like animated elements.
See the list of non-animation-related field examples below.
  3. Jason Carswell is seeking good concept ideas, writers, and other creatives to collaborate with. Especially for freedom-oriented content.
  4. Jason Carswell is seeking business and production management assistance.
    • accountants
    • business registration experience
    • clients
    • grant-writers
    • lucrative projects
    • producers
    • public relations / social media promotions
    • etc.

* Animation classes and work-placements are fully funded by government grants.

After Jason Carswell teaches his 9-day crash course in 2D animation (Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays - 4,5,6, 11,12,13, 18,19,20 of September, 2023) to 10-15 students (free for the unemployed/underemployed), government grants may fund 1 or 2 unemployed/under-employed animators $20/hour for 70 hours at each work-placement. They'll gain practical production experience, have portfolio material, and network with professionals and clients. Work-placements distributed among local Windsor media producers will ideally benefit several freedom-content producers, including Jason Carswell's new Giraffe Ideas (local) and Glossed And Profound (global) creative studios.

Folks are welcome to join Projex.Wiki to organize and coordinate these animation projects, other projects, and help edit to improve information on this wiki.

Animated shorts

For practicality and efficiency it may be worth developing concepts in preparation before work-placements occur. For example, a series of animated shorts or meme-skits could clearly explain why 15 minute cities are a bad idea - and importantly these ideas should be figured out well in advance so the animators have only to bring it all to life (and maybe develop the aesthetics and style).

  • May be a series.
  • May be a singular piece.
  • May be simple or complex.
  • May explain concepts, critical issues, problems, promotions, and/or solutions.
  • May may be entertaining or serious.
  • May tell a story (or not).
