This FAQ page is currently a dumping ground that needs to be reworked to be presentable and useful.

About

LeverMind developing projects are founded on the voluntaryist principles of bottom-up community self-management opposing the global corporatocracy's top-down tyrannical technocracy.

LeverMind projects are hosted on sister-sites:

  • LeverMind.net is the online Facebook-like free-discourse community-forum and communications hub.
  • Projex.Wiki, this wiki you are reading, hosts open-source developing LeverMind projects that include forum Organization, public relations strategies, and counter-propaganda Productions.

Origin of the name

Govern + Ment = Control + Mind

Leverage your mind out of it's brainwashed rut.

If trouble is what you're looking for
Then trouble is all you'll find.
The difference between a rut and a groove
Is all in your state of mind.

Funding

For several years User:JasonCarswell has covered the expenses of domains, hosting, and sites. The community can discuss and determine alternative solutions, such as donations, marketplace sales, advertising, video production support, etc. - as well as how and where fund-raising could be invested (code-bounties, merch, new features, other projects, productions, staff, etc.).

Past and future

LeverMind was initially only to be a variety show. Domains were purchased. Nothing happened for a few years. For the new forum LarrySwinger2 suggested using LeverMind.net over the other domain options. Jason Carswell wished he'd thought of crossing media with social media sooner, like Moon on YouTube.

ASCII Cat

When setting up the LeverMind.net domain the URL is http://89.147.109.196. But if you make a typo and leave off the last "6" you go to http://89.147.109.19 to find just an ASCII cat for some reason:

    /\_____/\
   / o o \
  ( ==  ^  == )
   ) (
  ( )
 ( ( ) ( ) )
(__(__)___(__)__)
1.21 gigawatts!?!
