WEFreedom (aka WEFreedom.ca, formerly WE Protect Freedom!), is an unofficial freedom-movement open-community of people primarily from Windsor and Essex County, in South-West Ontario.

Ask not what WEFreedom can do for you, rather ask what you can do for WEFreedom.

Primarily there are four key overlapping aspects of WEFreedom:

  1. Actions
  2. Communications
  3. Resources
  4. Social

View the WE Protect Freedom! wiki-page for more 3+ year-old details, ideas, information, and notes that have not yet migrated here.

Social soirées

This section will soon relocate to WEFreedom/Social events.
See also: Category: Windsor freedom rallies.

Since 2024 WEFreedom folks have socially gathered for potlucks at least once a season, though lately more often, about once a month.

These are only a few web-flyer images because the others need to be found, uploaded, and included here...

2026 Action & Communications meetings

The sections below will soon relocate to WEFreedom/Action meetings, WEFreedom/Communications, etc.

After three years without meetings (formerly at the Green Room and Brown's Lounge), now as WEFreedom, are restarting meetings in the summer of 2026 - every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 7pm, at The Lions' Den, the freedom underground, beneath the Hakka Khazana restaurant (downtown Windsor @ 157 Wyandotte & Victoria).

Meeting goals

Mission statement (purpose)

More soon.

Goals

The purpose of the WEFreedom Action and Communications meetings are to efficiently and effectively get things done.

Many aspects of Action and Communications overlap and intertwine.

Meeting expectations

Voluntaryism
The common sense idea that all forms of human association should be voluntary... with the assertion that any act of violence [or coercion] other than self defense, whether by an individual or organization, is illegitimate and unlawful.
(Brave Search: Voluntaryism)
Voluntaryism
If it's not voluntary it's coercion.

When you attend meetings you are expected to be caught up, take on assignments, do your homework, and be of value. If you don't know what to do - ask.

Critically, these meetings must be developed into a group effort - not dependent on nor burdening a single "leader".

You should know and fully understand these fundamental terms:

  1. Do-ocracy
  2. FOEPATCHISM
  3. Voluntaryism (not to be confused with volunteerism)

Action

  1. gather info (audit City Hall, monitor social media, news, other sources)
  2. awareness & processing (understand problems, find alternatives/solutions, legal knowledge, etc.)
  3. strategize and plan
  4. logistics (organize, produce results, follow up)
  5. outreach and public relations

Communications

  1. process info (intake, edit, share)
  2. develop original content (cartoons, designs, flyers, memes, news, pamphlets, satire, shorts, etc.)
  3. publish media (forum, newsletters, podcasts, print, videos, wiki, etc.)
  4. classes, lectures, presentations, rallies (arts, computing, education, technology, wikis, etc.)
  5. other communications and events

Also

WEFreedom.SubMatrix.net will soon be our communications hub. Facebook is a bad habit. Quit the evil junk.

We may also do WEFreedom community organizing at meetings, though Action & Communications are generally the main priority.

Not

  • NOT for sharing war stories about COVID, tyranny, etc.
  • NOT social meetings
  • NOT to catch up on news

Respect others, do not interrupt, and let them finish their thoughts.

You should socialize before or after the meetings - not during.

Meeting agendas

Every meeting will start with that day's agenda, with necessary edits.

Every meeting will conclude with the next meeting's agenda, developed during the meeting.

  • 2026-06-24 WEFreedom meeting notes, 7pm @ Lions' Den
    • read agenda
    • assign roles (minutes, secretary, treasurer, etc.)
    • start next agenda
    • share research
    • discuss processing research
    • discuss Action projects
    • discuss Communications projects
    • discuss wiki-page improvements: WEFreedom, Newsletter, etc.
    • determine what needs doing
    • assign homework
    • take on tasks
    • review next agenda
