Wednesday meetings

We’ve re-started WEFreedom Action & Communications 2nd & 4th Wednesday Night Meetings, 7pm at The Lions’ Den studio space for classes, meetings, and productions, below Hakka (Wyandotte & Victoria).
The purpose of the WEFreedom Action and Communications meetings are to efficiently and effectively get things done. Many aspects of Action and Communications overlap and intertwine.
When you attend meetings you are expected to be caught up, bring valuable information, do your homework, take on assignments, and be helpful. If you don't know what to do - ask.
Actions
- gather info (audit City Hall, monitor social media, news, other sources)
- awareness & processing (understand problems, find alternatives/solutions, legal knowledge, etc.)
- strategize and plan
- logistics (organize, produce results, follow up)
- outreach and public relations
Communications
- process info (intake, edit, share)
- develop original content (cartoons, designs, flyers, memes, news, pamphlets, satire, shorts, etc.)
- publish media (forum, newsletters, podcasts, print, videos, wiki, etc.)
- classes, lectures, presentations, rallies (arts, computing, education, technology, wikis, etc.)
- other communications and events
