The South-Western Ontario calendar and newsletter (temporary working title) will be open evolving projects of and by the people of Windsor, Essex County, and beyond, to become online reference resources with self-printable flyers to distribute local regional information alone or with other publications (such as Druthers), with a focus on sharing critical information, to prepare for the worst, while hoping and striving for the best, and resisting the tyranny of government and corporate overreach.

Windsor ACTION Group

WAG could take note of Wag The Dog, "a [1997 political] comedy about truth, justice, and other special effects", staring Dustin Hoffman and Robert De Niro, IMDb. (It's also predictive programming about Monica Lewinsky.)
The tail wagging the dog is an idiom that usually refers to something important or powerful being controlled by something less so. Its earliest use is in the 1858 play Our American Cousin. The 1997 movie shortened the phrase and added the additional meaning of "superfluous (military) action in order to distract from domestic scandal." [1][2]

7:00pm to 9:00pm, weekly ACTION meetings prioritize the more-formal major 1st & 3rd Wednesday of each month. This emphasis allows folks with limited time to attend major meetings while others may participate at minor meetings on the 2nd, 4th, and sometimes 5th Wednesdays of each month.

WAG agenda meeting lineups should feature:

  1. Opening introduction
  2. Action issues (causes, campaigns, events, projects, public relations, strategies)
    Prioritized first for folks who may need to duck out early.
  3. Awareness issues (sharing & teaching)
  4. Unscheduled presentations (sharing & teaching)
  5. Questions and answers (interactive but orderly)
  6. Closing summaries (clarity for meeting minutes)
  7. Socializing time (and to share opinions, politics, and war stories)

Group ACTION goals need to be clearly and openly outlined and organized. Here are some ideas.
